Tequila Brass plays music inspired by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Like those hitmakers of the 1960's, we love a gorgeous melody, wherever the genre - Latin, pop, jazz, and bit of funk. From the Beatles to (Burt) Bacharach and from Jobim to (Elton) John.
Come along with us, as Tequila Brass jumps in a Tijuana Taxi, hops about like a Spanish Flea, and brings on the Fandango. We then settle back to recall Memories of Madrid, ask for More and More Amor, and wish everyone Salud, Amor Y Dinero.
Tequila Brass performs for diverse audiences in all kinds of settings. Indoors, we play pubs and hotels, sports clubs and care homes. Outside, we can be found in parks, on bandstands, and at festivals. In 2023, we delivered a stomping set at the Lambeth Country Show. If you have an event that you are looking to liven up, please contact us on our Bookings page or email us at tequilabrasslondon@gmail.com
All of this raises an important question. Shouldn't the bass player be minding the groove, not taking photos!
